The project was presented to the City Council and alternatives to be included in the next phase of study were selected on January 27, 2015.
Certain critical design features evaluated by the design team were reviewed by the Bridge Street Bridge Stakeholders Group Committee on August 26, 2015, October 7, 2015, and November 2, 2015.
A review of these design features, along with a review of project process was shared at a Community meeting on March 2, 2016.
A project update was presented to the City Council on January 24, 2017, and the replacement alternative was eliminated from further consideration.
A mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) was adopted by City Council on September 26, 2017.
A Resolution to approve the purchase of Temporary Construction Easements (TCEs) was adopted by City Council on May 28, 2019.
City Council approves construction documents and authorizes the solicitation of construction bids on October 8. 2019.
City Council receives project update and information regarding tree removal and trimming activities on January 14, 2020.
City Council awards construction contract on February 25, 2020.
