Times like these bring our community together and many of us want to help where we can. See below on many of the local opportunities where you can make a difference. Please remember that if you are sick or at high risk, please stay home!
1. Help sew face masks - there is a group in SLO County providing masks for essential workers that are in the public daily. Contact them for the pattern and the specifics on the type of material must be used.
2. Dignity Health is looking for donations of masks and other important items.
3. 5 Cities Homeless Coalition is looking for help with giving the homeless in our community aid and is in need of delivery drivers. Contact Moisses Rodriguez at (805) 574-1638 for more information.
4. Central Coast Senior Center is looking for drivers to help deliver meals to home bound seniors. Call them at 805-481-7886.
